Question :
What is 'Change of Signs' ?

Answer :
If a bracket is preceded by a minus sign then all the signs inside a bracket change from - to + or + to - when the bracket is removed. A plus sign in front of a bracket causes no change of sign inside the bracket when it is removed.
For Example :
-(6 - 2 + 3) becomes -6 + 2 -3 but +(3 - 4 -8) remains 3-4-8. When there is no sign of + or - in front of a term, it can always be assumed as a plus term.
